Government Higher Secondary School Hayaseeri qualified for the final of the Inter-College Zonal Cricket Tournament by defeating Government Higher Secondary School Lal Qila in the first semi-final match. According to details, GHSS Hayaseeri won the toss and opted to bowl first. GHSS Lal Qila set a massive target of 163 runs in the allotted 10 overs, with Salman scoring a brilliant 86 runs. The start of the second innings was quite dramatic. Haroon Rashid hit a six on the first ball but was sent back to the pavilion on the very next delivery.
