Islamabad: 13 October 2026: The German Embassy in Islamabad hosted a jazz concert featuring the Jazz Quintet of the German Air Force, bringing together guests from different walks of life for an evening of music and cultural exchange.
The event was co-hosted by German Defence Attaché Colonel (GS) Joern Rist and Jan Gerald Krausser, Counsellor and Head of Communications and Cultural Affairs at the German Embassy.
The ensemble comprised Master Sergeant Benjamin Kaapke, Sergeant 1st Class Heiko Schulz, Sergeant 1st Class Maurice Nau, Sergeant 1st Class Julian Teltenkötter and Sergeant 1st Class Johann Günther.
During the concert, the quintet performed a varied jazz repertoire, highlighting the genre’s versatility and expressive range.
The embassy said the event brought together music enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds and reflected the role of music as a means of cultural connection across borders.
The German Air Force Jazz Quintet is also scheduled to perform at the German Unity Day reception.
