Gas production has commenced from a well located in Dera Bugti, Balochistan. According to OGDCL, the well is producing five million standard cubic feet of gas per day. The gas output has been successfully connected to the Uch Gas Processing Plant.
OGDCL has informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange about this development through an official letter, stating that the well is 100% owned by OGDCL.
It is worth noting that earlier this year, PPL announced the discovery of gas from the Tour-1 well in the Latif Block, located in Khairpur district, Sindh. Last year, PPL also began hydrocarbon production from the Adhi South-6 well.
