Islamabad, April 1, 2026 — Pakistani students can apply for the IOE Centenary Masters Scholarships 2026, a fully funded UK programme offered by the Institute of Education at University College London, with applications open until May 4.

The scholarship targets candidates from low and lower-middle income countries, including Pakistan, and supports students pursuing postgraduate studies in education while aiming to contribute to social and educational development.

What is the scholarship and what does it cover?

The IOE Centenary Masters Scholarship provides full financial support for one academic year. It covers tuition fees, accommodation in London, and an annual stipend, reducing the financial barriers associated with studying abroad.

The programme is designed for students who plan to use their education to improve opportunities for disadvantaged communities.

Who can apply from Pakistan?

Pakistani applicants must meet three core requirements:

• Hold an unconditional offer for a full-time master’s degree at UCL’s Institute of Education
• Be from a low or lower-middle income country
• Have not previously studied or lived in the UK

The scholarship prioritises applicants with a clear focus on education, policy, and social impact.

What programmes are included?

The funding applies to most full-time taught master’s programmes at the Institute of Education. However, certain courses, including MA Educational Neuroscience and all online programmes, are not eligible.

How to apply and deadline

Applicants must first secure admission to a relevant master’s programme at UCL. Once an unconditional offer is received, they can submit the scholarship application online.

For Pakistani students, the scholarship provides access to internationally recognised education and training without financial strain. It also supports the development of skills that can contribute to improving education systems and social outcomes in Pakistan.
