A one-day free medical camp was organized at the scenic tourist destination of Malam Jabba by Samsons Welfare Hospital, a project of Samsons Group of Companies. Thousands of patients, especially women, benefitted from the camp.
Specialist doctors from various fields along with experts in lifestyle medicine examined the patients, provided valuable health consultations, and distributed free medicines. Participants were also educated on preventive healthcare and how lifestyle changes can lead to better overall health.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, family physician Dr. Shagufta Feroze emphasized that many illnesses can be prevented or effectively treated through changes in lifestyle. With proper guidance, people can achieve long-term health and well-being.
Medical Superintendent of Samsons Welfare Hospital, Dr. Shamsheer, stated that due to the lack of accessible healthcare facilities in the region, the hospital arranges monthly free medical camps. This time, a special team of experts was also invited to promote not just treatment, but also awareness of healthy living habits to improve community health.
