Islamabad: The Honorable Chairman FPCCI Standing Committee on Police and Civil Administration Mr. Yayhya Sheikh CEO Shaheen Chemist along with Executive Members Mr. Haroon Naseer CEO Maroof International Hospital and Mr. Abbas Khan CEO Jacked Nutrition organized the first ever full day Health and Fitness Gala to ensure a sense of collaboration between the Police Civil Administration and the business community at large.
The event was co-sponsored by Deputy Chairmen of the committee Mr. Shahnawaz Aleem Khan Executive Director MAAKSONS, Mr. Raja Wamik Khan Executive Director Reliance Energy and Power, Committee Coordinators Mr. Zubair Taimoor CEO Ambassador Associates , Mr. Talha Sheikh Director Shaheen Chemist and Executive Members Mr. Ali Kaifee CEO AK Broadcasts who was also the official media partner for the event, Mr. Ali Mehdi, Mr. Jahanzaib Amjad CEO Volta Jolt and Mr. Omar Farooq CEO Chezious who in collaboration with Mr. Saad CEO Hanif Rajput caterers were the official catering and food sponsors for the event.
Chairman Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, Senator Rana Mahmood Ul Hassan, MNA Dr. Tariq Fazal.Chaudhry, Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner ICT Mr. Ali Randhawa, President FPCCI Mr. Atif Ikram Sheikh, a large strength of Ambassadors from the diplomatic corps, media personnel, politicians and senior most ranks for the Police forced attended the Health & Fitness Gala organized by the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) at ICT Police Lines, Islamabad. The event, which also honored the contributions of the police force, especially the families of martyrs, saw a distinguished gathering of government officials, lawmakers, diplomats, and community leaders.
Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani expressed his deep appreciation for the FPCCI Standing Committee on Police and Civil Administration’s efforts in organizing such a noble initiative, emphasizing that the event serves as a tribute to the dedication and sacrifices of the police force. “We owe our police force a debt of gratitude that can never be fully repaid. Every day, they put their lives on the line to ensure our safety and security,” said Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani.
Addressing the families of the martyrs, Chairman FPCCI said that the whole nation, the parliament and the government stand with you. Your loss is our collective loss. Pakistan has lost brave men and women. But we stand ever more determined and resolute to maintain peace and stability no matter what the cost.
The dignitaries also highlighted the importance of promoting health and fitness within the society, stressing that physical activity is essential not only for individual well-being but also for reducing the burden of chronic diseases across communities. “Initiatives that promote health and fitness, such as today’s gala, are vital in fostering a healthier society,” he remarked.
Chairman of the committee Mr. Yahya Sheikh, CEO Maroof Hospital Mr. Haroon Naseer and CEO Jacked Nutrition Mr. Abbas Khan called for increased public-private partnerships, urging the private sector to take a more active role in promoting health and wellness initiatives. He also recommended integrating physical education into school curriculum and launching public awareness campaigns on the benefits of regular physical activity.
The event featured various activities aimed at promoting fitness, including physical exercises, health consultations, and wellness programs.
The event was an overall success marking the begining of a bright collaborative future between the business community and the Police and Civil Administration at large through the Standing Committee on Police and Civil Administration.
