Four members of the same family were killed and two others injured after unidentified assailants opened fire in Suleman Khel area of Lakki Marwat, police said.
Police said a heavy contingent reached the scene following the shooting and collected evidence as part of the initial investigation.
According to police, all four victims belonged to the same family. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances of the attack and identify those responsible.
The identities of the victims and the motive behind the shooting were not immediately disclosed.
