A man was allegedly beaten to death by his four brothers-in-law in the Kala Shah Kaku area near Lahore, police said on Wednesday. The incident has prompted a police investigation, while the victim’s family has demanded the immediate arrest of those involved.
According to police, the incident occurred in the Dharur Hind area of Kala Shah Kaku. The victim, identified as Zafar, was the father of eight children, including five daughters and three sons. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the alleged killing.
Family Protests, Demands Justice
Following the incident, Zafar’s relatives staged a protest at the THQ Hospital, expressing anger over the alleged killing and calling for swift action against the suspects.
The family urged authorities to arrest the accused without delay and ensure they are prosecuted in accordance with the law. They also appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to take notice of the case.
Police Conduct Raids
Police said raids are underway to arrest the four suspects. Officials added that efforts are continuing to locate the accused and bring them before the courts as the investigation progresses.
No arrests had been officially announced at the time of publication.
