Amir Muqam stated that the National Highway Authority (NHA) has been directed to repair roads without discrimination. He explained that the federal government is also addressing several provincial-level issues to provide urgent relief to the people.

He highlighted that flood victims’ compensation efforts extend across provinces, stressing equal support for Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. “It is not the case that if a province has an opposition government, we ignore its people. Every Pakistani is equal to us,” he remarked.

The minister praised Pakistan’s recent defense success against India, calling it a matter of national pride. He also lauded Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s speech at the United Nations, describing it as a strong diplomatic representation of Pakistan and a powerful voice for Palestine and Gaza.

Amir Muqam further noted that recent agreements with Saudi Arabia reflect global trust in Pakistan. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal General Asim Munir, Pakistan’s image is emerging positively.

On the occasion, he also addressed the concerns of flood-affected hotel owners. He stressed that a fair compensation formula must apply so that those who suffered genuine losses receive relief. Moreover, he pointed to the urgent challenges of climate change and called for collective efforts to address them.

Sharing his political philosophy, Amir Muqam declared: “My politics revolves around serving the people. Whether someone voted for me or not makes no difference to my commitment to public service.”
