ISLAMABAD: A major fire gutted Dr Salman Aesthetic Clinic in Beverly Center, Sector F-6, Islamabad, causing extensive financial losses and leaving one staff member with serious burn injuries. The injured employee was shifted to hospital for treatment.

Initial reports suggest the blaze originated from an adjacent restaurant before spreading rapidly to the clinic, engulfing the premises. Firefighters managed to contain the flames after considerable effort, but the clinic was completely destroyed.

This marks the second fire incident in the same Beverly Center plaza of F-6/1 within a week, raising concerns over fire safety measures and regulatory oversight in commercial hubs of the federal capital.

Business owners and residents expressed frustration over what they described as inaction by the Capital Development Authority (CDA), pointing to repeated fire incidents and apparent lapses in enforcement of safety standards.

Local traders and citizens have called for an immediate investigation, strict implementation of fire safety regulations, and accountability to prevent future incidents. They warned that continued negligence could put lives at risk.
