The Federal Government was removed by the CEO of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Ahmed Ishaq Jahangir, from its post, which quoted its inability to reduce trading and implement the necessary responsibility and reforms within the agency. After the approval of the division’s government, she issued the establishment of a formal announcement and described Yahangir as an officer as a special commitment (OSD). Reasons for removal According to official sources, the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was personally dissatisfied with the professional performance of Yahangira, in particular his inability to support strict measures against network trading people. Despite the direct instructions of PM, Yahangir failed to create a strong system of responsibility and reform. Resources also revealed that under the leadership of Yahangir, there have been an increase in cases where FIA officials associated with people trading. His lack of strong and complete control of the agency contributed to the decision to remove it from the office. During his time, Pakistan faced global control over the incidents of people and the main international tragedy of Pakistani migrants. Despite the growing crisis, Yahangir was unable to dismantle organized networks facilitating illegal migration. Yahangirovo holds like FIA DG Ahmed Ishaq Jahangir, police officer of Pakistan 21, was appointed FIA DG 30 January 2024 and remained in office for almost a year. However, due to the constant inefficiency of FIA operations, it has now been removed from its location.
