ISLAMABAD: The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) held an investors’ conference in Islamabad on Thursday, distributing acceptance letters and awards among successful participants of its recent auction and announcing special facilitation measures to address their investment-related concerns.
The conference, organised in honour of successful investors, was attended by FGEHA senior officials, members of the Auction Committee and investors who had participated in the auction.
Director General FGEHA Capt. (Retd.) Zafar Iqbal congratulated the successful investors and assured them that the authority would provide dedicated assistance, including the appointment of focal officers to facilitate communication and ensure timely resolution of their concerns.
Addressing the gathering, he said investors would be treated as business partners and that maintaining their confidence remained a priority for the authority.
“You are not merely investors for us; you are our business partners. You have chosen FGEHA by placing your trust in us, and through our performance and practical measures, we will demonstrate that your decision was the right one,” he said.
FGEHA announces dedicated focal officers for investors
The director general said FGEHA would introduce special arrangements to assist successful investors with matters related to their investments, payments and other administrative requirements.
Under the proposed facilitation arrangement, each investor would be assigned a designated focal officer or concerned official who could be contacted directly for guidance and assistance.
He said the initiative was intended to improve communication between investors and the authority while ensuring that legitimate concerns were addressed without unnecessary delays.
Capt. (Retd.) Zafar Iqbal added that FGEHA remained committed to providing timely guidance, efficient services and convenient payment procedures.
He said further measures would be introduced to improve investor facilitation and strengthen confidence in the authority’s operations.

Auction Committee stresses transparency and cooperation
Earlier, Director Administration Tanveer Haider Khokhar welcomed the participants.
The Chairman of the Auction Committee congratulated the successful investors and emphasised the importance of mutual trust, transparency and cooperation in maintaining long-term relationships.
He said FGEHA regarded investors as valued business partners rather than merely purchasers of property.
According to the chairman, the confidence demonstrated by investors in the authority’s auction procedures was encouraging and would be strengthened through continued cooperation and improved services.
He also stressed that transparency and effective communication were important for the success of future projects.
Investors raise concerns during interactive session
A question-and-answer session was held during the conference, allowing investors to directly discuss investment-related matters with the director general.
Participants raised questions concerning payment procedures, administrative requirements and other issues associated with their investments.
The director general listened to their concerns and issued directions to relevant officials for necessary action and follow-up.
He assured investors that their legitimate issues would be addressed promptly and that the authority would continue improving its facilitation mechanisms.
Participating investors expressed confidence in FGEHA’s policies and procedures and welcomed the proposed appointment of dedicated focal officers.
They also appreciated the opportunity to communicate directly with senior management and discuss matters affecting their investments.
