ISLAMABAD: The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) has cancelled the allotments of 13 additional plots in Sectors F-14 and F-15 after allottees reportedly failed to clear long-pending installment dues, as the authority accelerates development work on the residential project.

The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority plot cancellations are part of an ongoing enforcement drive aimed at removing financial bottlenecks and speeding up infrastructure development in the twin sectors. Officials say the action targets defaulters who did not meet payment obligations despite repeated opportunities.

According to a press release issued in Islamabad on July 1, the decision follows recommendations from a special committee formed under the directives of the authority’s Executive Board. The committee reviewed records and identified plots where outstanding dues had remained unpaid since 2016.

The authority had previously cancelled six plots in an earlier phase under similar action against defaulters. Officials said the latest cancellations were carried out with what they described as transparency and legal compliance to protect the interests of compliant allottees.

FGEHA said scrutiny of allottees’ financial records is still ongoing and warned that further action will be taken if long-standing dues are not cleared without delay.

The housing authority added that it remains focused on completing Sectors F-14 and F-15 as planned modern residential developments equipped with basic infrastructure and civic facilities. It also expressed appreciation for allottees who have paid installments on time, saying their cooperation has helped maintain project momentum.
