FBISE SSC Results 2026 Announced; Over 291,000 Students Receive Matric Results

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) on Wednesday announced the results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part-I and Part-II First Annual Examinations 2026, with more than 291,000 students receiving their matriculation results across Pakistan and overseas institutions.

Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui officially announced the results during a ceremony in Islamabad. FBISE Chairman Prof Dr Ikram Ali Malik briefed participants on the examination process and highlighted the board’s performance before congratulating successful candidates on their achievement.

According to official statistics, 150,077 candidates were enrolled in SSC Part-I, of whom 88,646 passed, resulting in an overall pass rate of 59.77%.

For SSC Part-II, 141,653 students appeared in the examination, while 128,070 candidates successfully passed, taking the overall pass percentage to 91.33%. In total, 291,730 students were enrolled in the two examinations this year.

The results also highlighted a significant performance gap between regular and private candidates. Regular students recorded pass percentages of 64.23% in SSC Part-I and 95.69% in SSC Part-II, compared with 18.01% and 61.21%, respectively, among ex-private candidates.

Among the position holders, Afeera Ijaz of Army Public School and College Girls, Pasban Rawalpindi Cantonment, secured the overall top position in the SSC Part-II Science Group with 1,089 marks.

Amna Nauman of Army Public School and College, Muzaffarabad, secured second position with 1,088 marks, while Huzaifa Haider of Fazaia Inter College, Rawalpindi Cantonment, finished third with 1,086 marks.

In the Humanities Group, Fatima Zahra of CB Public Girls School and College, Wah Cantonment, claimed first position with 1,037 marks. Muhammad Maaz of the Institute of Islamic Sciences, Islamabad, and Manaal Zahid of DHA Senior School for Girls, Lahore, jointly secured second position with 1,031 marks, while Aneesa Nisar of Pakistan Education Academy, Dubai, stood third with 1,023 marks.

Students can check their results through the official FBISE website or by sending an SMS to 5050 in the format FB [space] Roll Number. Result cards for regular candidates are being dispatched to their institutions, while private candidates will receive them at their registered addresses. Overseas candidates will receive their result cards through their respective institutions.

The board also reported 24 unfair-means cases in SSC Part-I and 62 cases in SSC Part-II, stating that all cases were decided under the prescribed examination regulations.
