PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has appointed senior bureaucrat Fazal Khaliq as Principal Secretary to the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with immediate effect.

According to a notification issued by the Human Resource Management Department on Friday, Fazal Khaliq, a Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) officer of BS-20, has been posted against the vacant position in the public interest.

Before the appointment, he was awaiting posting in the department.

Fazal Khaliq has previously served in several administrative positions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and the federal government.
