ISLAMABAD, September 14: Fawad Alam, a visually impaired Class VI student from the Visually Handicapped Centre in Islamabad, has won the national title of Pak Got Talent 2026, marking a major achievement for inclusive and special education in Pakistan.
The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training announced the achievement, describing Fawad’s victory as a proud moment for his family, teachers, mentors and the Directorate General of Special Education (DGSE).

According to the ministry, his success reflects the impact that equal opportunities, specialised support and an enabling learning environment can have on children with disabilities.
The ministry said the achievement was particularly significant because a student from a special education institution had competed on a national platform and emerged as the winner of the talent competition.
The grand finale of Pak Got Talent 2026 was broadcast on national television, bringing wider attention to Fawad’s performance and achievement.
Officials said his victory also carried a broader message about the abilities of children with disabilities and the importance of providing them with opportunities to develop and showcase their talent.
The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training credited Fawad’s parents, teachers and mentors for supporting his development and encouraging him to pursue his abilities with confidence.
It said Fawad’s journey demonstrated that disability should not prevent children from achieving excellence when they receive appropriate educational support, encouragement and access to opportunities.
The ministry described him as a symbol of inclusion, resilience and the potential of children with disabilities across Pakistan.
Fawad’s national title is also expected to strengthen the conversation around inclusive education and the need to create more platforms where students with disabilities can participate, compete and demonstrate their skills on equal terms.
