CHITRAL: A farewell party was held in honor of Muhammad Sattar Khan SP investigation on his retirement from services held at Police line. According to detail Superintendent of Police (SP) Investigation Lower Chitral Mohammad Sattar Khan completed his service and retired after 40 years from Govt service.
A farewell party cum Aftar dinner was organized by the Lower Chitral police in his honor. A special Iftar party was also organized in this connection at police line lower Chitral.
District Public Prosecutor Lower Chitral Ayaz Zarin, DSP Headquarters Iqbal Karim, DSP Circle Chitral Sajjad Hussain, DSP Circle Bumburit Hassanullah, DSP Circle Drosh Ahmed Isa , DSP Circle Lutkoh Tamizuddin, DSP Security Lawi Hydor Power Project, DSP Tourism Police Sher Raja, all SHOs, Additional SHOs, Office Staff and other officers. Representatives of the society also participated in farewell party.
Addressing the ceremony, outgoing SP Mohammad Sattar Khan said that while living in the police, he performed his duties with passion, dedication and honesty. He said that Lower Chitral police is professional police. I always found them professional. It is hoped that in future they will continue to serve the people in a similar way.
Other participants also expressed their views at the ceremony and appreciated the successful period of SP Mohammad Sattar Khan.
During the farewell ceremony, gifts were also presented to the retired police officer.
Mohammad Sattar Khan belongs to Torkhao, Tehsil of Upper Chitral District. He was recruited as a constable in police in 1983 who was promoted as ASI, SI Inspector and served as SHOs in different police stations. He was also promoted as DSP and served in Peshawar, Islamabad and other low districts. He also performed duty in the operation for a long time in Chitral. After that, he served in Police Investigation section. He worked for forty years and during that time he was posted in different sections of police department. After completing his 40 years service he retired from police department at acting DPO of Lower Chitral. His service will always be remembered. During the farewell ceremony, the participants appreciated his services and praised him for performing his duties in the best way.
