Nisha Patil, a 62-year-old housewife from Mumbai, shocked everyone by bequeathing her property worth 229 crore rupees to Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, despite never having met him. Nisha, who was battling a terminal illness, wrote several letters to the bank expressing her wish to transfer her entire property to Dutt’s name.
Sanjay Dutt, however, refused to accept the property, stating that he did not personally know Nisha Patil and was deeply emotional upon hearing the news. The information was conveyed to him through the police, leaving him in shock.
His lawyer also confirmed that the actor would not lay any claim to the property and would take legal steps to return it to Nisha Patil’s family.
