Facebook has reportedly introduced an easier monetization pathway for some accounts in Pakistan, making it simpler for content creators to earn in dollars through the platform.

The update relates to Facebook’s content monetization system, which allows eligible users to earn revenue from their posts and videos. According to details shared in circulating reports, the platform has lowered the performance threshold for certain pages compared to earlier requirements.

Previously, creators were often required to meet higher benchmarks such as 10,000 followers and millions of watch minutes to qualify for monetization tools. However, the new condition being highlighted suggests that some accounts may now qualify after achieving around 300,000 views within 28 days.

If applied broadly, the change could make monetization more accessible for emerging creators in Pakistan, where many users rely on social media platforms for digital income opportunities. However, eligibility is still subject to Facebook’s broader content and policy guidelines.

The development has generated discussion among creators, particularly those seeking easier entry into digital earning through short-form and page-based content.
