Dhadial: Pakistan Ex-Servicemen Society’s Secretary General, Commodore (R) Arshad Mahmood Khan, met with the District Police Officer (DPO) Chakwal in his office today, January 8, 2025. During the meeting, he apprised the DPO of the legal and other significant issues faced by ex-servicemen. He assured the DPO of the ex-servicemen’s, especially war veterans’, cooperation in maintaining public order.
Lieutenant Ahmed Mohiuddin informed Commodore Arshad Mahmood Khan that, under the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Ms. Maryam Nawaz and Punjab IG Dr. Usman Anwar, Chakwal Police is continuously striving to improve its performance and organizational culture. Efforts are ongoing to bring land grabbers, drug dealers, and proclaimed offenders to justice.
Regarding issues related to veterans and ex-servicemen, it was shared that a special committee has been formed, following meetings between Chakwal Police and PESS, to ensure prompt and proper resolution of matters concerning ex-servicemen.
