Europe has officially enforced the common charger law. Now, regardless of the mobile brand, all devices across Europe will use a single charger type – the USB-C charger.
With this new regulation, even Apple is obligated to include USB-C chargers with iPhones, aligning with the Android system’s standard.
The European Parliament passed the common charger law in October 2022, granting Apple a deadline until the end of 2024 to transition its devices to the new standard.
