KARACHI: Ethiopia presented its tourism potential and cultural heritage at Pakistan Travel Mart 2026, as the Ethiopian Embassy in Islamabad and Ethiopian Airlines jointly launched an “Ethiopian Enclave” at the Karachi Expo Centre.

The showcase highlights Ethiopia’s heritage, tourism destinations and cultural identity, aiming to promote travel and strengthen tourism links between Pakistan and Ethiopia.
The Ethiopian Enclave received visits from senior Pakistani officials, including Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan, Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Tourism, and Aftab ur Rehman Rana, Managing Director of the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation.

Visitors at the exhibition experienced a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony and engaged in discussions on potential collaboration in the hospitality and travel sectors.
The display attracted significant interest from Karachi residents, media representatives and travel agencies, positioning Ethiopia as a potential destination for Pakistani travellers.

The Ethiopian Enclave will remain open at Pakistan Travel Mart 2026 until April 5.
