Islamabad, Jan 8 — Emirates is extending its Premium Economy offering to more destinations worldwide, with Karachi among the latest cities to be added to the network. Starting 1 March, the airline’s retrofitted three-class Boeing 777-200LR will operate daily flights to Karachi on EK606/607, marking the product’s debut in Pakistan’s largest city.
The expansion is part of Emirates’ broader rollout of its upgraded Boeing 777 and new A350 aircraft, which feature the airline’s latest cabin interiors. By 1 July, Premium Economy will be available on more than 84 routes, underscoring Emirates’ focus on delivering a consistent experience across its global network.
Enhanced travel experience
Passengers flying in Premium Economy can expect extra legroom, upgraded seating, enhanced dining options, and added amenities. The product has been introduced on retrofitted A380s, Boeing 777s, and A350s, reflecting Emirates’ investment in elevating comfort across long-haul travel. Tickets are available through emirates.com, the Emirates App, travel agents, and Emirates retail outlets.
Global rollout
Alongside Karachi, Premium Economy will launch in ten additional cities across Asia, Australia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and North America. These include Addis Ababa, Barcelona, Basra, Cochin, Copenhagen, Mexico City, Rome, Taipei, and Tehran. The airline also plans to expand Premium Economy coverage to more flights in two existing destinations.
Emirates noted that aircraft deployment may be advanced if refurbishment schedules allow earlier release.
