Tesla CEO and SpaceX founder Elon Musk has expressed no interest in purchasing the short-video sharing platform TikTok.
According to an international news agency, Musk made this statement during a conference hosted by German media empire Axel Springer via video link.
Musk stated, “I have not placed a bid to buy TikTok, nor do I have any plans regarding what I would do if I owned it. Therefore, I am not making any plans to acquire TikTok.”
He further added that he does not personally use the short-video app and is unfamiliar with its format.
The Tesla CEO described his acquisition of Twitter (now X) as an exceptional move, emphasizing that he usually builds companies rather than buying them.
