Elon Musk, the world’s richest man and owner of companies like Tesla, SpaceX, and Twitter (now X), has temporarily changed his name to “Kekius Maximus.”
The change sparked widespread speculation. “Kekius” seems to be derived from “kek,” a term associated with loud laughter, which became popular in online gaming culture. However, it is now often linked to far-right extremist ideologies.
Additionally, “Kek” is also the name of an ancient Egyptian god associated with darkness, sometimes depicted with a frog’s head.
Musk, who is a close ally of former U.S. President Donald Trump, has not provided any explanation for his name change.
