ATTOCK — Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan announces the launch of electric buses for Hazro. He also confirms the upcoming establishment of a passport office in Tehsil Hazro. He shared these plans during a public gathering organized by PPP Tehsil Hazro President Naseer Khan Jadoon.
Prominent PPP leaders attended the event. These included District President Sardar Asher Hayat Khan, Sardar Zulfiqar Hayat Khan, Malik Riyasat Sadryal, Sardar Muhammad Ali Khan, Malik Tahir Awan, Sajid Khan, and Khurram Shehzad. Malik Imdad Hussain Awan performed stage secretary duties. Organizers presented the Governor with a traditional Chhachh chadar to honor his visit.
Governor Haider Khan emphasized that electric buses for Hazro will offer affordable and eco-friendly travel. He pledged to work with the Punjab Government for quick implementation. If needed, he promised to personally support the project’s launch.
He also confirmed that a passport office will open soon. This will improve access to essential services. Moreover, he assured residents that the gas load-shedding issue would be resolved within a week.
While addressing the crowd, the Governor described PPP as the party of the poor. He reaffirmed his commitment to serve without discrimination. Instead of lobbying, he credited the prayers of the people for his appointment as Governor. He praised the people of Chhachh for their courage and loyalty. He called them the crown jewel of District Attock. Furthermore, he acknowledged the role of local journalists. He referred to them as his brothers and thanked them for their guidance throughout his journey.
The Governor reiterated that the electric buses for Hazro initiative reflect his dedication to improving public transport. He aims to lower travel costs for citizens and promote cleaner, more sustainable mobility across the region. He views the Governor’s office as a public trust and promised to protect it with integrity, transparency, and a deep sense of responsibility toward the people of Hazro and surrounding communities.
