LOWER DIR: Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) was observed with religious devotion and respect in Sarai Payin, Talaash area of Lower Dir, where a special gathering was held at Jamia Masjid Makki to commemorate the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The gathering was organized under the patronage of prominent political and social figure Khan of Sarai Payin Khalil Muhammad Khan. Renowned Pashto Naat Khwan Maulana Ehsanullah Hussain, Naat Khwan Sheikh Saleh Muhammad and a large number of participants attended the event.
Speakers Highlight Prophet’s Teachings
Addressing the gathering, speakers including Nek Muhammad Khan, Riyaz Muhammad, Maulana Aminul Haq and Khalil Muhammad Khan highlighted different aspects of the life, character and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Maulana Ehsanullah Hussain, a well-known Naat Khwan from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, delivered a special address and emphasized the importance of adopting the Prophet’s character and following his teachings.
Participants also recited verses from the Holy Quran and presented Naats and devotional poetry in praise of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The gathering concluded with special prayers for peace and prosperity in the Muslim world and Pakistan. Khalil Muhammad Khan thanked the participants for attending the Milad gathering.
