The initiative is being implemented under the provincial government’s welfare program, with officials stating that the registration process has progressed following the issuance of disability certificates by the Social Welfare Office.

According to the District Zakat Office, individuals whose names appear on the published list are required to verify their information and complete the necessary documentation to receive financial support. Eligible applicants have been instructed to visit the District Zakat Office to obtain and submit the prescribed application form within the given timeframe.

Officials said that all processing related to the assistance program will be carried out at the District Zakat Office, and applicants do not need to visit the Social Welfare Office for further procedures.

Verification process for applicants

Authorities advised listed individuals to bring a copy of their Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) and any other required documents when visiting the office to avoid delays.

Applicants can also check their names in the released PDF list by searching with their CNIC number or mobile phone number.

District officials urged eligible individuals to confirm their details and contact the relevant Zakat chairman for further guidance if their names appear on the list.

Assistance for persons with disabilities

District Zakat Chairman Lower Dir Imran Jan said the government is committed to ensuring timely financial assistance for deserving and differently-abled individuals.

He added that transparency would be maintained throughout the process to ensure that support reaches eligible beneficiaries without delay.
