SWAT: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Secretary Muhammad Khalid Khan has said that education is the foundation of sustainable social progress, emphasizing that the provincial government is taking practical measures to ensure every child has access to quality education.
He made these remarks while addressing a ceremony organized by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Swat to honour students who secured top positions in the annual Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations.
Students are the nation’s greatest asset
Addressing the gathering, Khalid Khan described students as the country’s most valuable asset, saying their academic success reflects the combined efforts of teachers, parents, and educational institutions.
He congratulated the position holders and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in their future educational pursuits.

The education secretary urged teachers to give equal importance to students’ character development alongside academic achievement.

Speaking at the ceremony, Swat Board Chairman Tasbeehullah, Secretary Umar Hussain, Controller of Examinations Mohammad Bashir Ahmad, Deputy Controller Mohammad Ishaq, and Assistant Director IT Shabbir Ahmad congratulated the position holders on their outstanding performance.
They encouraged students to maintain their dedication, hard work, and commitment while contributing positively to the country’s development.
