District Bar Association expresses grief over flood tragedy in Swat and demands immediate action from government. District Bar Association Haripur has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic incident of the death of a family in the recent flash flood in the Swat area. The statement issued by the Bar Association said that this tragic tragedy is a cause of grief for the entire nation, and every member of the Bar shares the grief of the affected family equally. The statement expressed deep concern over such accidents that occur every year during the monsoon and said that the relevant institutions are continuously failing to take timely measures, resulting in the loss of precious human lives.
The District Bar Association Haripur has strongly demanded from the provincial government that a complete and transparent inquiry be conducted into the tragedy, immediate action be taken against the government officials and relevant departments guilty of negligence, effective safety measures be taken to avoid such incidents in the future, and immediate financial assistance and basic facilities be provided to the affected family. The Bar Association expressed the hope that the government will make the protection of human lives its top priority and take serious and practical steps to prevent such tragic incidents.
