District Administration Kohat in collaboration with Fine Arts Organization Kohat presented a stage drama “Band Gali” based on awareness and awareness about the growing trend of drug addiction among the youth and its ill effects on the society at Kohat University on Tuesday. The instructions were given by PTV senior artist Naeem Iqbal Kohati. The production in charge of the drama was PTV senior artist Prince Iqbal while PTV senior artist Nadeem Malik directed it. Its set designer was internationally renowned artist Liaquat Ali Khan. Deputy Commissioner Kohat Abdul Akram Chitrali was the chief guest on the occasion. A large number of university students watched the play. He called it a good effort by district administration Kohat. The main idea revolves around an unemployed youth from a poor family who gets addicted to drugs due to the wrong society. Due to the bad effects of which his entire family even the women of the house are humiliated in the society. But when he gets rid of the curse of drugs and achieves a high position, then the whole society accepts him and those who were reluctant to have any kind of relationship with him embrace him. “Band Gali” had a great message for the youth to avoid bad company and drugs. Deputy Commissioner Kohat in his brief speech highly appreciated the main idea of the play and for presenting an educational play for the youth, the director of the play and its Kudos to the entire team He said that the district administration will present such educational plays in the future as well.
