Under the Prime Minister’s Ramadan Package, the distribution of cash to beneficiaries across the country is expected.

According to media reports, the government, in collaboration with the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), will distribute the Prime Minister’s Ramadan Package in the form of cash to underprivileged populations nationwide.

An inter-ministerial committee, known as the Cabinet Committee on the Closure of Operations of the Utility Stores Corporation (USC), has also been directed to devise a strategy for the distribution of the Prime Minister’s Ramadan Package in coordination with BISP.

The government has formed an inter-ministerial committee under the supervision of the Ministry of Industries and Production, which will formulate a strategy for shutting down the operations of the Utility Stores Corporation and its privatization. This committee includes several federal ministers and officials, including the Minister of Industries and Production, the Minister of State for Finance and Revenue, the Minister of State for Information Technology, and other key officials.

The committee has completed its recommendations and has been instructed to collaborate with BISP to prepare a strategy for the distribution of the Prime Minister’s Ramadan Package. Subsequently, the committee has developed a strategy to ensure that deserving individuals benefit from this package.
