The Chairman of the LPG Distributors Association, Irfan Khokhar, revealed that adulterated LPG is being sold in the market. According to Irfan Khokhar, the adulteration mafia is extracting gas from LPG bowsers and mixing carbon dioxide in it. The mixture increases the pressure from 900 to 1200, whereas the pressure in a normal LPG cylinder is around 540, which is why cylinders are exploding.

He mentioned that LPG, which is sold at 300 rupees per kilogram, is being mixed with 15 kilograms of carbon dioxide and sold.
