DigiBoost Institute inaugurated in Wah Cantt to promote digital skills and innovation

TAXILA: A new educational facility, DigiBoost Institute, was inaugurated in Wah Model Town with a focus on digital skills and innovation, aiming to equip students with industry-relevant technological training.

The inauguration ceremony, attended by educationists, professionals, students, and community members, highlighted the growing need for digital education in a rapidly evolving global job market.

Focus on modern skills and industry needs

Chief guest Professor Qaiser-ul-Zaman, former vice-chancellor of UET Taxila, emphasised the importance of digital learning and urged youth to adopt modern technological skills to stay competitive.

Speakers at the event, including Chaudhry Ata-ur-Rahman, Qazi Tariq, Mushtaq Hussain Qureshi, Usman Gul, Arshad Mughal, Munir Baig, Madam Faiza, and Imran Ahmed, stressed the need to integrate technology with education. They described the initiative as a step towards empowering youth through skill-based learning.

Vision to bridge education and technology gap

Khizar-ur-Rahman, managing director of DigiBoost Institute, said the institution aims to bridge the gap between traditional education and modern technological demands by offering practical, hands-on training in emerging digital fields.

He noted that the institute is designed to prepare students for real-world challenges by focusing on innovation and applied learning.

Awards distributed to top-performing students

The ceremony also featured the distribution of awards to students who excelled in educational competitions. Special recognition was given to Manahil Saeed and Malik Hasher Awan for their achievements.

Top position holders included Aiman Shehzadi (first position), Hafsa Munir (second), Saqib Shehzad (third), M Abdullah Waqar (fourth), Hasan Munir (fifth), Kashif Ali (sixth), Mehreen Anwar (seventh), Aram BB (eighth), Nabiha Khalid (ninth), and Hafza Arif (tenth).

Participants appreciated the initiative and expressed optimism that DigiBoost Institute would play a significant role in advancing digital education and skill development in the region.
