Dialogue Session on “Pakistan After the Battle for Truth” Held in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A dialogue session titled “Pakistan After the Battle for Truth” was organized by the Modern Age Forum Islamabad at Modern Age Public School and College (Capital Campus), bringing together scholars, retired officers, and professionals to discuss Pakistan’s current political, social, military, and economic landscape.

The session opened with a keynote by Principal Abdul Waheed Mir, who highlighted the Pakistan Army’s professionalism, planning, and technical expertise during Operation Bunyan al Marsous. He invited participants to reflect on the implications of Pakistan’s role in the operation for the country and the broader region.

Participants shared their views from diverse perspectives, analyzing the challenges and opportunities Pakistan faces in its political system, economy, and social cohesion. Among the speakers were Joint Secretary (Retd) Tahir Qurban, Dr. Mahmood ul Hassan, Dr. Murad Ali, Fakhar Abbas Khan, Begum and Air Commodore Ashar Ahsan, Haris Hafeez, Nushi Malik, Group Captain (Retd) Rahim Karim, Warrant Officer (Retd) Shabbir Hussain, and Vishal Asad.

The dialogue provided a constructive platform for open exchange of ideas, with participants stressing the need for unity, resilience, and strategic planning to address Pakistan’s current challenges and to seize future opportunities.
