SWAT: An awareness seminar on Diabetes was organized by the Society for Disaster Management and Health Affairs in collaboration with PharmVo and Centre for Biotechnology and Microbiology (CBM) University of Swat, and IDC. A free blood sugar screening tests were conducted for the students and faculty members of the university. The resource person was Dr. Sardar Ali Khan, Swat Medical College, who spoke about the causes, symptoms, and management of diabetes.
At the conclusion, Dr. Fazal Akbar, Director CBM appreciated the organizers, and thanked the speaker for sharing his knowledge and experiences with the participants. The organizer of the Society for Disaster Management and Health Affairs, Dr. Zafar Ali expressed gratitude to the Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Hassan Sher, the resource person and all attendees of the seminar.
