DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A formal complaint has been submitted to the Anti-Corruption Department seeking an inquiry into the use of an Rs85.3 million pension grant issued to the Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) Dera Ismail Khan on June 24.
The complaint was filed by reporter Ahmed Nawaz Mughal following public complaints from several pensioners who claimed they had not yet received their pension payments. The matter has raised questions over the disbursement of the grant and the official claims of complete payment.
The application calls for a transparent investigation into the full record of the pension grant, payment details and use of funds. It also seeks legal action against anyone found involved in irregularities or corruption.
The complainant said the purpose of raising the issue was not to accuse anyone without evidence, but to bring facts before the public in the wider public interest.
The complaint urges the Anti-Corruption Department to conduct an impartial and merit-based inquiry into the matter
