Descon Exports Pakistan-Made Steam Generation Packages for Major UAE Energy Project

Lahore: Descon Engineering Limited has completed the design, engineering and manufacturing of two steam generation packages in Pakistan for a major greenfield gas processing project in the United Arab Emirates, marking another milestone for the country’s engineering exports.

The equipment, manufactured at Descon’s production facility in Lahore, will be exported to the UAE to support critical operations through the commissioning phase of the energy project. The development highlights Pakistan’s expanding role in supplying high-value engineering products to international markets.

High-Specification Equipment Built in Pakistan

According to the company, the export package includes two 4 TPH, 6.50 Barg steam generation systems comprising boiler skids, feedwater skids and chemical dosing skids equipped with plug-and-play technology.

Descon said the equipment was fully engineered and fabricated in Pakistan in accordance with international quality and safety standards before being prepared for shipment to the UAE.

Project Supports Pakistan’s Engineering Exports

The company said the successful completion of the project reflects Pakistan’s growing capability to manufacture complex process equipment for global energy and industrial projects.

Descon noted that exports of high-value engineering products contribute to foreign exchange earnings while supporting the country’s broader industrial and manufacturing export objectives.

Commenting on the achievement, Descon Engineering Limited Chief Executive Officer Taimur Saeed said every successful export of high-specification equipment strengthens confidence in Pakistan’s engineering industry.
