Deputy Commissioner Sarah Hayat paid a surprise visit to the District Headquarters

Deputy Commissioner Sarah Hayat paid a surprise visit to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital and conducted a detailed review of the healthcare system’s performance and other administrative matters. She checked the attendance of doctors and paramedical staff, inspected the emergency department, various units, wards, and the pharmacy.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the Medical Superintendent of DHQ Hospital, Dr. Mukhtar Sarwar Niazi, to ensure the provision of the best medical facilities and free medicines to the patients visiting the hospital. She also instructed that high standards of cleanliness and healthcare system performance be maintained.

On this occasion, Assistant Commissioner Chakwal Zeeshan Sharif Qaisrani was also present. Deputy Commissioner Sarah Hayat met with patients at the hospital and inquired about the facilities being provided. She also gathered feedback from patients regarding service delivery.

The Deputy Commissioner inspected the hospital pharmacy and inquired about the availability of free medicines. She conducted a detailed inspection of various departments and wards, received briefings on medical facilities and administrative matters, and emphasized that the required standard of performance in all departments must be maintained.

Deputy Commissioner Chakwal stated that, in line with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision, the people of Chakwal will be provided with the best healthcare facilities. She warned that if government officers or employees create obstacles in public welfare work, strict action will be taken against them.
