Deputy Commissioner Chakwal Sara Hayat, while reorganizing the District Peace Committee Chakwal as the convener, has nominated renowned social figure and Chief Warden Civil Defense Raja Mujahid Afsar Khan Dandot as its member and has also issued a formal notification for it. Raja Mujahid Afsar Khan is undoubtedly the identity of Chakwal at the national and international levels and his inclusion in the Peace Committee has been appreciated by people of all schools of thought across Chakwal district and has termed it an excellent move. On his nomination, Raja Mujahid Afsar Khan said that he is grateful to the district administration and officers after Allah for expressing trust in him and giving him another opportunity to serve the people of the district. He said that I will try my best to serve the people of the district to the best of my ability for the establishment of peace and order in the district and for interfaith harmony.
