Defence Day ceremony held at Kingdom Valley Chakri to honour martyrs

RAWALPINDI: A Defence Day ceremony was held at Kingdom Valley Chakri to pay tribute to Pakistan’s martyrs and honour its Ghazis, with Kingdom Group Chairman Ghulam Hussain Shahid laying a floral wreath at the Martyrs’ Monument.

The ceremony was attended by members of the Kingdom Group management, members and their families, along with guests and clients.

Speaking on the occasion, Ghulam Hussain Shahid paid tribute to those who sacrificed their lives in defence of the country and said the sacrifices of the nation’s martyrs would continue to be remembered.

The chairman also briefed participants on ongoing development work at Kingdom Valley Chakri, future projects and the progress of the development scheme.

Several clients also shared their views during the ceremony and appreciated the development work and efforts of the management, according to the organisers.

The Defence Day event also featured performances showcasing regional culture and traditions, which were appreciated by participants.

The ceremony concluded with a dinner and special prayers for the security, stability and prosperity of Pakistan.
