Meer Shahdad khan
A meeting of the District Development Committee was held at the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Dadu, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Mukhtar Ali Abro. The meeting focused on the progress of ongoing development schemes in the district and addressed issues related to stalled projects.
Officials from various departments, including Public Health Engineering, Education Works and Services, District Roads, and Provincial Highways, briefed the Deputy Commissioner on the performance reports concerning development projects in Dadu District.
Deputy Commissioner Mukhtar Ali Abro instructed the relevant department officials to improve the quality of ongoing development projects within the district and ensure their timely completion, so they can benefit the general public. He further emphasized that strict action will be taken against those found using substandard materials or failing to meet quality standards in public development projects.
The Deputy Commissioner also directed the Assistant Commissioners to oversee the ongoing development schemes in their respective areas, review the quality of work, and submit reports.
In the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner highlighted that the government has allocated millions of rupees for citizens’ facilities, and it is our responsibility to ensure that these funds are utilized appropriately to alleviate the hardships of the district’s residents.
Present at the occasion were Assistant Commissioner Ghulam Fatima Ghalo, Assistant Commissioner Khairpur Nathan Shah Mohsin Raza Dasti, Assistant Commissioner Johi Adnan Ali, Public Health Engineer Dadu Ishrat Hussain, Assistant Engineer Education Works and Services Sajjad Ahmed Shahani, and other attendees.
