LAHORE: Punjab drug-control authorities have directed healthcare professionals, medical stores, pharmacies, hospitals and wholesalers to immediately stop the sale and use of specific batches of Davidax 1ml injection, according to a reported drug safety alert.
The affected batches are identified as DDI132 and DDI133. The action follows a report from the Drug Testing Laboratory Punjab, which prompted authorities to restrict the sale of the specified batches.
Medical stores, pharmacies, hospitals and wholesalers have also been instructed to stop selling the affected batches immediately and provide details of their existing stock to the relevant drug inspector.
Patients and members of the public have been advised not to use the affected batches. Anyone who has the injection in their possession should check the batch number on the packaging and consult a qualified healthcare professional or pharmacist for appropriate guidance.
