DADU: A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Dadu, Mukhtiar Ali Abro, at the Camp Office, DC House Dadu, to review the progress report of the ongoing EPI Big Catch-Up campaign. During the meeting, which focuses on providing immunization against 12 major diseases to children under five years, NSTOP Officer Deedar Hassan Khaskheli briefed the Deputy Commissioner on the campaign’s progress.
The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the performance of the teams and commended their efforts.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Mukhtiar Ali Abro conveyed a message to the public, stating that health department teams are reaching cities, neighborhoods, and villages to administer free immunization to protect children from fatal diseases. He urged citizens to cooperate with the teams. He also requested parents to support the visiting teams in their neighborhoods and villages.
Mr, abro said, parents could get their children immunized at the nearest EPI center. The Deputy Commissioner directed parents and the health department’s concerned staff to work together to ensure the campaign’s success, making the district free from diseases.
The meeting was attended by DHO Dadu Dr Syed Imdad Ali Shah, Dr Javeed Ahmed, Dr. Junaid Ahmed, Dr Rafiu, Dr Abdul Jabbar Babar, and others.
