Portuguese football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has announced that he intends to continue representing his national team, reaffirming his commitment to helping Portugal achieve further success.
According to a report by SAMAA TV, Ronaldo also spoke publicly for the first time about his disagreement with coach Jesus, alleging that the coach failed to honour a commitment regarding his playing time.
Ronaldo said the coach had promised to give him 30 minutes of playing time against Norway. However, despite warming up during the match, he was not brought onto the field.
The Portuguese star further claimed that the coach did not explain the matter during the subsequent press conference, as he had expected.
Despite the reported disagreement, Ronaldo has made clear that he remains available for international duty and wants to continue contributing to Portugal’s success.
