COMSATS University administration has strongly refuted the recent negative reports circulating in certain media outlets, calling them baseless and misleading. These reports question the discipline and security measures within the university hostels, which the administration has firmly denied.
According to the spokesperson of COMSATS University, the hostel system operates under a comprehensive and strict code of conduct. Student activities are continuously monitored, and no compromise is made when it comes to discipline and moral training. The spokesperson emphasized that COMSATS hostels remain a top choice for students and parents alike due to the institution’s well-established environment of order and safety.
Modern security scanners are installed at the main entrance of the university, where all individuals are thoroughly checked before being granted access. Similar security arrangements are also in place at hostel entrances. Hostel wardens conduct regular inspections of student rooms to ensure that no unauthorized or unethical activities take place.
The university administration further stated that they actively collaborate with relevant government departments working on drug prevention and routinely carry out inspections and investigations. These departments, according to the university, have consistently expressed satisfaction with the institution’s internal monitoring systems.
The administration has termed the circulated news reports as a deliberate attempt to malign the university’s reputation and has demanded evidence to support the allegations. The university has also extended an open invitation to all parents, government officials, and other concerned individuals to visit the campus, inspect its facilities, and witness the robust security and discipline in place.
