Under the supervision of the Chairman POF Board and the guidance of the Director Admin and Station Commander Wah Cantonment, the POF administration implemented excellent cleanliness measures in the estate area and cantonment board regions during Eid al-Adha, winning the hearts of the public. The tireless efforts of Nisar Ahmad (Incharge Wah Cantonment), Asif (Incharge GHS), and Anwar Kamal Afridi (Incharge POF Sanitation) proved fruitful.
Despite the scorching heat, the employees of these institutions remained active throughout the three days of Eid, collecting and disposing of animal waste and carcasses in a safe and sanitary manner. The staff collected waste from homes, neighborhoods, and streets, sprinkling lime powder on the waste before burying it in the ground to prevent foul odors. A help desk was set up to assist the public, which operated continuously throughout the three days of Eid. The local residents appreciated the POF administration’s efforts in maintaining cleanliness and providing a safe and healthy environment during Eid al-Adha.
