Tarbela Ghazi: Residents of the Khari and Gandgar areas have reason to celebrate, as a Citrus Gala is scheduled to take place tomorrow in Ghazi. The event will feature 16 citrus farmers and over two dozen institutions and companies setting up stalls.
Organized collaboratively by the Agriculture Department’s Extension Wing of Haripur District, Ghazi Tehsil, and the University of Haripur, the Citrus Gala will be held at the scenic Family Resort Hotel, situated opposite the Ghazi Barotha Barrage. This marks the first time such an informative and recreational fair is being organized for the public and families in Ghazi, aiming to simultaneously promote regional culture, economy, and entertainment.
The agricultural fair will showcase local citrus varieties, including Blood Red, Shakri, Musambi, Kinnow, and Fruiter, highlighting their significance through dedicated stalls. The event not only provides attendees with access to quality fruits but also supports local farmers and traders. Such programs offer the community an opportunity to come together, celebrate their culture, and enjoy recreational activities. For the residents of Ghazi Tehsil and surrounding areas, this event presents a unique and delightful occasion.
