ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad management has declared the CIA building in I-nine as a sub-prison. The Chief Commissioner of Islamabad has issued an official notification regarding the decision. According to the notification, the CIA building has been detailed as a sub-prison below Section 3 of the Prisoners Act of 1894. The notification similarly said that the acclaim for putting in place the sub-jail turned into granted with the aid of the Ministry of Law and Parliamentary Affairs, following a request from the Islamabad administration. The Chief Commissioner’s notification additionally clarified that individuals arrested at some point of the current protests can be held in this sub-jail.
