Islamabad: According to the details chairman capital development authority Ch Muhammad Ali Randhawa have visited the Interchanges projects and made a detailed review of the ongoing development works on the projects. On this occasion, senior officers of the relevant formations were also present during his visit.
According to the details, Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa expressed his satisfaction on the progress of the work done so far. While giving a briefing to Chairman CDA, it was told that the work of transfer of electricity, gas and other service lines is going on fast and work is being done simultaneously on different parts of the both projects. He was further informed that work has also been started on both underpasses of the Sareena Chowk Interchange.
Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa directed that the speed of ongoing construction works on the projects should be accelerated and both projects should be completed within the stipulated period by doing 24/7 construction work. He instructed that the relevant team of NESPAK should ensure their presence at the sites of the projects.
Chairman CDA directed that the flyover work on Jinnah Avenue Interchange should also be started soon, similarly beautification work should be planned along with the construction works of the both projects and all the obstacles in the construction works should be removed immediately.
Chairman CDA further said that with the speed of construction works, any kind of shortcoming in quality will not be tolerated. He further said that these projects will prove helpful in improving the road infrastructure of Islamabad, which will make it possible to eliminate problems like traffic jams.
